So Why Are Dip Powder Nails Becoming so Popular?

A Step Above the Competition.

  • SNS products supply essential vitamins, including calcium, to strengthen your nails.
  • SNS products do not contain toxins like parabens, phthalates, synthetic sulfate, triethanolamine, formaldehyde, toluene, or DBP.
  • Less filing is needed before application.
  • No primer is needed. The finish dries in 2 minutes without the need of UV light.
  • Manicured nails are lighter and more comfortable yet stronger.

Unfortunately there are a few downsides to everything. A dip powder manicure will take a few minutes longer to complete ranging between 15 and 25 minutes. Additionally, the final color may appear differently because the finish is in powder form. It is recommended to use a nail dummy before application.

Easy to Use.

SNS has made it easier than ever to apply your own professional manicure with this helpful video. Here is a quick overview:

  • To apply Gelous Color, once you push back the cuticles and gently buff the surface of the nails, paint a thin, even layer of Base Coat.
  • Let that dry for one minute, then apply a medium coat of Gel Base and dip the nails, one by one, into the colored powder.
  • Repeat step 2 again for each nail.
  • Dust off the excess powder with a brush, then apply Sealer, shape and buff.
  • Paint on a second layer of Sealer, plus two thin coats of Gel Top.
  • Once the nails fan dry for 30 seconds, apply the Nourisher and massage if desired.

If you have any pre-existing nail work, such as Gelous Color nails, SNS recommends removing it completely before application. They have also simplified the process for tip extensions; All you need to do is dip three times instead of twice to make sure your nails are fully coated.
